Given that HIV and Aids interventions are funded and implemented by various partners, harmonizing reporting from their activities is crucial to take stock of their individual and collective work to assess the overall progress towards the attainment of NACC’s objectives.
Further, it is critical to understand the nature of interventions and resources allocated to reduce duplication of the scope of response and optimize effectiveness with consideration of the extent of the disease burden across the various counties.
In this regard, the Implementing Partners Online Reporting System (HIPORS) facilitates easy and continuous submission of annual and progress reports to NACC on HIV and Aids resources and interventions made by partners to inform and guide the council on national HIV and Aids Response and the Kenya Aids strategic framework.
The system captures geographical, demographical, activities and resources data to enable NACC to master the HIV and Aids situation in the country.
