To ensure multi-sector HIV programme stewardship, ownership, optimal coordination, communication and advocacy are strengthened at the national and county level, coordination of KASF II is aligned to the globally agreed “Three One’s Principle” of one agreed HIV and AIDS Action Framework that provides the basis for coordinating the work of all partners, One National AIDS Coordinating Authority, with a broad-based multi-sector mandate, and One agreed country-level Monitoring and Evaluation System that guide HIV responses. KASF II coordination structures are aligned with the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and the relevant legislative instruments along with the national policies and strategies including the Kenya Vision 2030 and the Third Medium-Term Plan (MTP III) that define the service delivery and institutional framework.
