The 2021 Prevention Summit calls us to retrain our focus on HIV prevention in order to put Kenya on a path towards ending new HIV infections.

The summit further seeks to draw commitment towards eliminating new HIV infection by 2030 by effectively implementing recommendations provided under the HIV Prevention Revolution Roadmap 2030. The Road Map recommended an approach that provided sub populations with interventions that were effective within their geographical locations.

A national HIV Prevention Coalition has been established as a mechanism to monitor progress and expand access to HIV prevention services across the country.
