Good and sound policies and strategies make it possible to effectively and systematically collect, analyze, communicate, and use data related to effectively inform the interventions against HIV in Kenya. NACC is inclined towards policies and strategies that are based on sound evidence and are positioned to better respond to the HIV and related issues in Kenya.
NACC involves governments, private sector, faith sector, individuals, and civil society organizations to play a vital role in its policy development, implementation, and monitoring to bolster national efforts in the response to HIV. It also facilitates multi-stakeholder dialogues and foster strong relationships across sectors to effectively monitor the full policy process and employ their perspectives and understanding to improve policy and strategy development and implementation.
