Emily is the Corporation Secretary and Director Legal Services at NSDCC where she leads both the Board secretariat and legal services division. A seasoned legal practitioner, she has served in various capacities within the Kenyan Judiciary, the Constitutional Court of South Africa, the East African Court of Justice, and the Office of the Controller of Budget.
Over the years, Emily has acquired a wealth of experience in governance, litigation, public finance, legal and regulatory compliance, policy formulation, and legal research.
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Nairobi, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is also a Certified Secretary.
