Lucy Wanjiku Njenga is a dynamic leader and global speaker with a passion for creating environments where young leaders can flourish. She holds a bachelor’s degree in arts with a focus on Community Development. With over ten years of experience in public health, Lucy has been instrumental in establishing feminist movements and advocating for gender equality at both grassroots and global levels.

As the Founding Coordinator of Sauti-Skika, Kenya’s first network for adolescents living with HIV, and the Founder and Executive Director of Positive Young Women Voices, Lucy empowers adolescent girls and young women through community-based initiatives. Her influence extends to significant roles, including serving on the International Council of AIDS Service Organizations (ICASO) Board of Directors, the UN Leave No One Behind Sounding Board, and the Country Coordinating Mechanism for the Global Fund. She has also represented Africa on the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board.

In addition to her advocacy work, Lucy authored “Hope Made A Way,” a memoir detailing her journey of resilience against adversity and inequality, further amplifying her commitment to empowerment and social justice.
